There are many individuals and organisations who want to share their experience and expertise to call for improvements or changes in the systems which affect them.
In complex settings such as health, education, environment and social services it can be difficult to know where to start and more importantly what to focus on. This problem often leads to policy briefs, evidence briefs, position statements and advocacy strategies and approaches which miss opportunities for impact as they don’t have focus or lack understanding of the change process.

What we do
- We support organizations, networks and associations to complete all the steps of developing an advocacy plan including analysis, assessments, strategies and activities through facilitation and co-design processes and approach.

Policy and Evidence Brief Development
What we do
- The identification, analysis development and drafting of policy briefs, evidence briefs and position statements through co-designed facilitated processes.

- A suite of briefs and statements that align to advocacy strategies and are utilised by key stakeholders and change-makers.
System Level Advocacy Training and Capability Development

- Embedded training in the above processes to develop skills and capabilities in advocacy, strategy development, policy and evidence brief development.
- Training without an associated project to build understanding in the areas of system level advocacy and policy and evidence brief development.

Yes, any of the services be it strategy development, policy and evidence brief development or training can be requested individually or together.
Yes, what we find is that this is a common scenario when it comes to collective advocacy. However what we also see is that in such settings networks, communities of practice or associations encompassing groups of individuals volunteering their time also tend to find it difficult to know where to focus their limited time and resources for impact. This is an element we will help clients identify and work towards which supports the efficient utilization of time for system level improvement and impact.
Possibly, this depends on the quality of the briefs. We will look at the briefs and be able to let you know if and more importantly why we may or may not be able to proceed with offering the service. Unfortunately many policy briefs tend to lack focus and strategic direction.
Yes, collective research impact is more strategic, effective and efficient than individual researchers trying to achieve impact on their own. We can work with you as a group even though you may be from different universities or not part of a specific not for profit.
